Steel - Determination of case depth after flame hardening or induction hardening

Abstract

This Standard specifies the methods to determine the depth after flame hardening or induction hardening of steel of, as a rule, over 0.3 mm thickness. However, it may be applied for steel of thickness 0.3 mm or under with the agreement between the manufacturer and the purchaser.
