Secondary lithium cells for portable applications

Abstract

This Standard specifies methods of testing the electrical characteristics and safety of secondary lithium single cells, and designations, markings, dimensions and other requirements for secondary lithium single cells to be used for portable applications. This Standard is not applicable for a packed battery consisting of one or more single cells.
