Rockwell hardness test - Verification of testing machines

Abstract

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies a direct verification method and indirect verification method of testing machines for determining Rockwell hardness (scales A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, K, N, T) according to JIS Z 2245. The indirect verification method may be used on its own for periodic routine checking of the machine in service.
