JIS B 1082:1987Stress area and bearing area for threaded fasteners
Abstract
This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the stress area of metric screw thread and the area of the part where a load due to the contact of the bearing surface of threaded fastener and the other side is added, hereinafter referred to as the "load area". Furthermore, the method to obtain the stress area of unified thread is shown in Reference.
