JIS D 0202:1988General rules of coating films for automobile parts
Abstract
Standard defines the general rules of coating films applied on the metal substrate of automobile parts, referred to as "parts", in order to make them anticorrosive or ornamental. However, it is not applicable to the coating films as follows: (1) The coating film intended for only temporary anticorrosiveness. (2) The coating film for the body shell of an automobile and its bed. (3) The coating film applied on the thin metal film electroplated, vacum evaporated, or roll leaf hot stamped or otherwise on plastic substrate.
