JIS C 8117:1992AC supplied electronic ballasts for fluorescent lamps
Abstract
This Japanese Industrial standard specifies a.c. supplied electronic ballasts for fluorescent lamps which have a rated input voltage not exceeding 300 V at 50 Hz, 60 Hz, or 50/60 Hz in common and a rated secondary voltage not exceeding 1000 V and are used in general place, among those for use inside a home or a luminaire to light fluorescent lamps specified in JIS C 7601 (excluding Annex 2) and the low pressure mercury germicidal discharge lamps specified JIS C 7605. However, the ballasts without enclosure and integrated with a luminaire are excluded.
