JIS G 0801:1993Ultrasonic examination of steel plates for pressure vessels
Abstract
This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the ultrasonic examination of killed steel plates (however, stainless steel is excluded) of at least 6 mm thickness used for principal parts of nuclear reactor, boilers, pressure vessels, etc. However, for the method for inspection of steel plates of over 200 mm thickness, annex 4 applies. Further, general matters other than those specified in this standard shall be in accordance with JIS Z 2344.
