Abstract
This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the thermal evaluation and classification of electrical insulation of electrical products. It considers the thermal evaluation of insulating materials and of insulation systems, their interrelationship and the influence of service conditions. It also defines the responsibility for assigning thermal identification and classification.
