JIS X 6002:1980Keyboard layout for information processing using the JIS 7 bit coded character set
Abstract
This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the layout for the keyboard operated with both hands for information processing which implements the 7-bit alphanumeric-katakana code defined in JIS X 0201. This standard specifies relative positions of keys n the keyboard and does not specify physical items such as space between keys, inclination of the keyboard, shapes/dimensions of keytop and space bar, etc. Furthermore, this standard does not specify the representation of characters on key tops.
