Low-voltage enclosed switches (AC 600 V and below)

Abstract

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies enclosed switches of rated current 600 A or less and rated capacity 15 kW or less with fuses or without fuses which are intended for use in indoor electric lines of a.c. 600 V or less at a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, hereinafter referred to as the "enclosed switches". However, switches exclusively used in control circuits and those of special protective construction such as waterproof type and explosion proof type are not inculuded.
