Abstract
This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the method to determine the hydrocarbons contained in liquid petroleum products by means of fluorescent-indicator adsorption method after classifying them into three hydrocarbon-types i.e. saturated hydrocarbons, olefin hydrocarbons, and aromatic hydrocarbons; and specifies the method to determine benzene, toluene, xylene, methanol, methyl tertiarybutyl ether (hereafter referred to as "mtbe"), etc. in gasoline by means of a gas chromatography.
