JIS G 0578:2000Method of ferric chloride tests for stainless steels
Abstract
This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the ferric chloride test method to evaluate the pitting resistance of stainless steels by determining the corrosion rate in 6 % ferric chloride solution and specifies the critical pitting temperature test method to evaluate the pitting resistance of stainless steels by determining the critical pitting temperature of high corrosion resistance steels in 6 % ferric chloride solution.
