JIS D 0012:2001Road vehicle - Transmission sift positions
Abstract
This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the shift positions, with their checking device and denotation, for the transmission (gear system manual and automatic), of the types of floor shift, column shift and instrument panel shift, used in automobiles. This does not apply to two-wheeled vehicles.
