This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the shielding gas, orifice gas and assist gas of shielding gas used for Gas-shielded metal-arc welding; Orifice gas and shielding gas used for plasma arc welding; Orifice gas and assist gas used for plasma arc cutting; Shielding gas used for laser welding; Assist gas used for laser cutting; Shielding gas used for brazing with electric arc; Shielding gas used for laser beam brazing; Shielding gas used for gas backing.
