Abstract
This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the automatic steam traps according to the following mode of actuation. a) Mechanical traps: Actuated by the level of condensate. b) Thermostatic traps: Actuated by the temperature of condense. c) Thermodynamic traps: Actuated by fluid dynamics of condensate.
